Photography Studio Operator


The Photography Studio Operator is responsible for fulfilling any role necessary for the success of the production, whether as camera operator, stylist, styling assistant, merchandise coordinator, or studio maintenance and upkeep. Training will be provided and potential national travel may be required to provide support for any production within the company.



  • Prepping/Ripping photo sets according to pre-determined lighting diagrams
  • Capturing the image of the products on set
  • Reviewing the final captured image and if the lighting or styling is off, elevating it to the stylist or lead operator to adjust
  • Ensure that the sku and angle matches the product on hand
  • Use our internal processes to save the images to our database
  • Responsible for prepping merchandise
  • Responsible for styling merchandise on set according to pre-determined styling guides
  • Responsible for removing any styling implements before merchandise is returned to client
  • Responsible for unpacking merchandise and checking it in
  • Responsible for checking merchandise out and packing it up to be returned to client.
  • Communicate regularly with the team to ensure daily priorities are met, learnings are shared, and requirements are exceeded


  • 2 year College Degree at an accredited University
  • Reliable with the ability to adapt to changing conditions
  • Ability to work under pressure in deadline-driven environment
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize/multi-task and follow projects through to completion
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Team player
  • Excellent people skills
  • Experience in the Photography industry or Art field is a plus
