International Controller


The International Controller will support the accounting operations of the company and various areas of the financial planning and analysis function including the production of financial reports, the maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records for all subsidiaries, a comprehensive set of controls designed to mitigate risk and enhance the accuracy of the company's reported financial results. The position will also support the CFO on a day-to-day basis with various ad hoc projects including system deployments, budget controls, tax optimization initiatives and financial integration of acquired subsidiaries worldwide.



  • Develop and recommend financial and administrative policies and procedures which will ensure the timely and accurate recognition of revenue and all financial aggregates and ratios in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
  • Oversee various ERP system upgrade and integration of multiple acquisitions on to the new ERP system.
  • Support daily operations of the accounting department in conjunction with the Head of Accounting, including managing multiple domestic and international entities plus Treasury function.
  • Supervision of P&L, balance sheet and forecasts and track actual performance against the same
  • Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against budget.
  • Manage in house and remote staff.
  • Establish and implement short- and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.
  • Design, establish, and maintain an organizational structure and staffing to effectively accomplish the department's goals and objectives.
  • Provide recommendations for procedural improvements and support yearly audit
  • Provide accounting policy orientation for new staff.


  • Must be a CPA with current public accounting experience
  • High involvement in day to day operations for their assigned business unit(s) as well as M&A activities
  • Bachelor’s in Finance or Accounting plus five or more years of experience in a senior-level finance or accounting position. MBA is a plus
  • Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Experience handling financial data and preparing financial reports, statements and projections
  • Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems
  • Knowledge of federal and state financial tax regulations
  • Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects
  • Interpersonal communication skills to interact with all levels of management and staff
  • Presentation skills necessary to deliver training for a wide audience range. Ability to deliver individualized instruction as necessary
  • Individual who is innovative and has strong problem-solving ability
  • Able to act independently and follow through on assignments
  • Previous M&A experience is preferred
  • Previous experience implementing ERP systems (Netsuite preferred), system upgrades helpful
