    Studio Director

     

    The Studio Director will oversee and manage the team and workflow of an in-house studio located at one of our client’s headquarters. The Studio Director serves as the client lead and is responsible for client satisfaction, ensuring quality production, on time and on budget. This position will manage, train and develop a team of fulltime and freelance talent to ensure we are consistently providing excellent customer service as well as represent the client needs and goals within the studio to ensure quality.

    Responsibilities

    • Manage studio budget; ensure all shoots stay within budget and any shifts are properly communicated and agreed upon with the client
    • Recruit, train, develop, and celebrate the successes of the photo studio team
    • Act as an elevated point of contact for assigned clients
    • Provide regular two-way communication between the client and team, to provide strong team representation and set proper client expectations
    • Lead the local production teams in the development, planning and successful execution of projects
    • Take ownership for quality execution of all projects undertaken by the team
    • Consistently work towards evolving the workflow process and improving the studio efficiency
    • Be the known contact for all requested services outside of the established production Routine
    • Oversee operational budget for studio and overall studio maintenance

    Qualifications

    • More than 3 years of relevant management experience, preferably in ecommerce, advertising or marketing industries
    • Demonstrated leadership experience with a fast-paced retail photography, operations and production environment
    • Ability to foster a culture that promotes a healthy, fulfilling work/life balance
    • Strong background in photo production
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
